Using Robinhood for Trading Stocks

 So you are wanting to get into stock market but you do not know where to start, and maybe you are wondering what Brokerage to use. For those who are wanting to get their feet in the market and are looking for a good brokerage to start with, personally I think Robinhood is a great brokerage to start with. There are many brokerages out there, and no. I have not tried them all but I have tried a few. Out of the ones I have used, Robinhood stands out as an excellent brokerage firm for beginners and more seasoned investors as well. Not to get into too many details but i will give just a few reasons why I recommend Robinhood. 1. Great Customer service. Any problems i have had, the support team at Robinhood have always been very prompt in getting back with me and trying to resolve the problem.

2. Very simple interface. The trading platform is very user-friendly so even a novice can navigate the sight with ease.

3. Instant deposits. As soon as you make a deposit you can immediately make a trade, even before the deposit clears

4. Fractional shares. Unlike some platforms I use, Robinhood lets you buy fractional share in companies, which enables you to buy shares of big companies without having to buy a whole share, This is good for those without a lot of capital to invest. 

So in my humble opinion. Robinhood is a legit brokerage and also a good starting brokerage for the novice as well as the experienced investor.

Make Money With Amazon Mechanical Turk

It is no secret that you can make money selling stuff on Amazon, or sell your book through Amazon Kindle services but what some people may not realize is that they can make money doing online tasks. These tasks are available on the Amazon Mechanical Turk site. The tasks pay as little as a penny per task to upwards of $10 or more per task. Some of the tasks are very easy, some are hard, but they are all done for the most part from your computer. Something I personally do is take surveys, the surveys can range from around $.40 to $5.00 or more and usually take from 10 minutes to 45 minutes to complete, give or take a few minutes. To some this may seem like a waste of time, but if you want to make a little extra money when you are just sitting around watching TV or doing nothing at all, you may want to give this a chance. Stolen Ride

In a boxcar along with sacks of grain

Freelance Writer

I have not posted lately to this blog, but just wanted to give an update on my freelance writing endeavors. No longer writing for Demand Studios, but started back with textbroker and have been posting on HubPages and Associated Content. I am also accepting freelance work from individuals. I am considering applying for other sites but there are only so many hours in a day. I am writing a book on HubPages called Zombie Dad, a story about a regular family with a zombie for a Dad. I have published three chapters so far, hoping to continue writing and maybe publish a paper version one day. Why Don't We Drill for Our Own Oil

Maybe I am a little ignorant and unlearned, but I have a hard time understanding why we do not drill for own oil in Alaska and offshore as well. Why does some of those in power insist on keeping the United States dependent on foriegn oil? There is a mystery here and I am afraid of what the answer may be.

Oswald Chambers points out the most important goal to have in life, that is to live a life that is well pleasing to our creator. The only way we can do that is believing is His only begotten Son who died for our sins and arose from the grave so that we could have a right relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Giving Ourselves to Whom We Belong

As we get ready for church and put on our best clothes, best Christian manners, and our Jesus mask, may we be reminded that we are called to so much more than a Sunday morning extravagamza of fine suits, Sunday dresses, and parading around like we are the holiest of the holy; we are called to present ourselves daily to God as a living sacrifice. That is so much more than our standard religious activity.
